OUR STORY
What began as a lifelong passion for aviation has grown into a mission to preserve an important part of Australia’s history. As an aircraft enthusiast, I have always admired the craftsmanship, innovation, and stories behind these remarkable machines. So when the opportunity arose to acquire aircraft from the Australian Aviation Museum in Bankstown before its closure, it was one I simply couldn’t pass up.
The journey to bring these historic aircraft home was no small undertaking. Transporting them from Sydney to Barellan—and now to their new home in Trungley Hall—required determination, careful planning, and a deep commitment to preservation. Over the course of 24 return trips, we covered a distance equivalent to traveling halfway around the world.
Each journey was driven by a single purpose: to ensure these aircraft, along with their documented history, are not lost to time but instead carefully preserved and shared with future generations. Today, they stand as a tribute to Australia’s rich aviation heritage and the people who helped shape it.
This is more than a collection—it’s a living legacy, dedicated to keeping the spirit of Australian aviation alive for years to come.
